Like other forms of folk music such as Greek rebetika, Argentine tango or American blues,
fado cannot be explained; it must be felt and experienced. We are happy that the audience
in Cyprus had an opportunity to live fado at its best with Cristina Branco - the fado princess -
the soul and the voice of Portugal on the 14th of June 2005 during the unique concert of
the singer in Cyprus, which was held as part of her new album's tour "Ulysses".

It was a fascinating presentation of the compilation of music arranged by the famous Argentinean
composer and cellist Jorge Bosso especially for the extraordinary virtuoso violinist Dora Schwarzberg
and an orchestra. The idea of the "Bosso ConcepŠt" is to showcase music of famous and less known
classic and contemporary composers. It is a kaleidoscope of musical images, countries and epochs.
Jorge Bosso wrote: "We hope that our dear audience will enjoy this music as much as we do, praying
every day "God save the music". The program "Bosso ConcepŠt" has been performed with standing ovations
in many countries: England, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Argentina and others. And now Cyprus
is also added to this list.
